Windy City Miracle 16U Finishes Runner-Up at Rantoul Wood Bat Tournament

The Windy City Miracle 16U team put together an impressive weekend at the Rantoul Wood Bat Tournament, finishing as tournament runner-up after a strong and competitive run.

Facing tough competition throughout, the team showcased resilience, discipline, and high-level execution on both sides of the ball.

In the championship game, the Miracle continued to battle offensively against a solid opponent.

Tanner Oppermann led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4, while Kathan Chronopoulos matched that performance with his own 2-for-4 showing. Aidan Gonzales added a key RBI to keep the Miracle within striking distance.

Throughout the tournament, the 16U squad demonstrated growth, toughness, and the ability to compete at a high level—setting a strong foundation moving forward.

With momentum building, this group continues to prove they are a team to watch as the season progresses.
