Windy City Miracle Catcher Commits to Calumet College of St. Joseph
The Windy City Miracle Baseball Program is proud to announce that 17U catcher Mateo Piquion of the 2026 team has officially signed his commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Calumet College of St. Joseph (CCSJ).
Piquion has been a cornerstone behind the plate for the Miracle, earning a reputation for his leadership and defensive presence. Mateo has consistently demonstrated the work ethic and competitive edge that define the Windy City Miracle program.
Throughout his time with the 2026 squad, Piquion has shown tremendous growth both on and off the field. His dedication to offseason training, attention to detail, and commitment to his teammates have set the standard for those around him. Coaches praise his toughness, communication skills, and ability to rise to big moments.
“Mateo represents everything we look for in a player,” said a Miracle staff member. “He’s a leader, he works relentlessly, and he’s earned this opportunity. We’re excited to see him take the next step at the collegiate level.”
At CCSJ, Piquion will bring his defensive skill set and competitive mindset to the next stage of his baseball journey. The Miracle family is confident he will continue to develop and make an immediate impact at the college level.
