13U Coach
Coach Jake Hunt brings years of experience, energy, and a deep knowledge of the game to the Windy City Miracle Baseball Club. A former collegiate outfielder at Calumet College of St. Joseph (2016–2021), Coach Hunt earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, laying the foundation for a career focused on athletic performance and player development.
Previously the Head Baseball Coach at Whiting High School (2023–2025), now coaching with Hammond Morton High School Varsity Baseball, a PE/Health teacher at Whiting High school since 2022, Coach Hunt plays a key role in shaping student-athletes both in the classroom and on the field. He also serves as the school’s Weight Room Supervisor, helping athletes build strength, discipline, and injury-prevention habits.
Jake’s coaching resume includes experience as the 16U Assistant Coach for Flash Baseball (2023) and professional experience in the Northern League with the Hammond Vikings (2024) and Griffith Generals (2025).
Specializing in hitting and outfield development, Coach Hunt is known for his ability to connect with players, challenge them to compete at a high level, and help them grow into confident, well-rounded athletes. His leadership style reflects Windy City Miracle’s core values — competitive fire, team-first culture, and building a strong baseball community in NWI.
