Coach Amir Wright

13U Head Coach

Amir Wright is the founder and owner of the Windy City Miracle Baseball Club, a competitive travel baseball organization established to help young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. He also serves as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at TF South High School in Lansing, Illinois, where he leads the program with a strong emphasis on development, discipline, and culture.

In addition to coaching, Amir is a Certified Personal Trainer and the Strength and Conditioning Coach at TF South, providing year-round training programs tailored for baseball athletes.

Amir brings a wealth of playing experience to his coaching career. He played six years of collegiate baseball at Saint Joseph’s College, Saint Leo University, and Ball State University. Following college, he went on to play professional independent baseball in Frederick, Maryland, where he led his team in stolen bases (19) and posted a .340 batting average. In 2023, he signed with the Frontier League’s Evansville Otters, but a foot injury during Spring Training led him to transition fully into coaching and player development.

Baseball runs deep in Amir's family. His younger brother AJ completed his college career as a shortstop at Division II Northwood University, and his youngest brother, Aydin, is currently the starting catcher at Division I Central Michigan University.

Amir's passion for the game and dedication to developing the next generation of ballplayers drives everything he does—on the field, in the gym, and in the community.
